Internet Explorer 6 so slow

Internet Explorer 6 is so slow and unresponsive. When I click on some link I have to wait for 20 seconds to open new page. After click Internet Explorer logo starts to spin but it really takes it time to open a web page. Is this normal Internet Explorer 6 behavior or I am having some problem with it?

It is not quite normal behavior. Download program called HiJackThis and run it. Check its log to see if your browser has been hijacked are if you have some spyware or adware on your system, because this behavior is similar to one when your computer is infected with these nasty little programs. Do a full scan of your computer with some reliable anti virus and anti spyware program and I think Internet Explorer 6 will become more responsive after that.
