Intel or AMD for gamers?

Hello. I am planing to buy new computer. It will be used primarily for playing games. Decision is made about almost everything but processor. I can not decide between Intel and AMD. I have read many discussions on Internet regarding this dilemma but i was not able to make any definite conclusion. Which processor is better for gamers, Intel or AMD?

Hello. You will not find definite answer on this question. It is, more or less, question of personal preference. Currently, test are showing that Intel Core2Duo and QuadCore processors are better for gaming then AMD equivalents. In the near past situation was reversed and no one can tell how things will be developing in the future. SO, if you are buying computer for gaming now i can recommend you Intel processors.
