| My Intel CPU is overheating and freezing after some time. After about 2 to 3 hours, my PC just freezes. When this happens, I cant do anything with the PC, other than to reset it. PC was recently bought, so I believe that the parts are good. I can see that the CPU is overheating, but not too much. But suddenly, it just freezes. What is the matter here? Can someone help me? |

| Maybe your CPU fan is full of dust, so it is not running at the right speed. If it is running slower than it should, the air-flow is bad. The CPU is than getting hotter, because of lack of cold air. When the CPU gets too hot, I automatically shut down, so it wont get damaged. Youre wrong to say that it is not overheating too much. If it freezes, than it is serious. Just change the CPU fan, and your problem should be fixed. |
