Integrating forum with my website

I would like to integrate forum with my website because i think it would be nice addition. I have some knowledge about web design and web programming so I think it would not be overly complicated for me to integrate this. I just need few basic directions to start with. Thank you in advance for your answer.

Well, it is hard to give you some general instructions about integrating forum with your website because it depends on what forum software you are planning to use. All forum software has very good documentation so it will not present you the problem to install it and use it.
