I dared to install new graphic card all by myself. And according to the manual I think that I did everything well, but after the first power on after the graphic card upgrade, I can’t login to the system. NTLDR is missing. I tried to bring the safe mode, the computer than restarts. I had nVidia GeForce FX 5200, the BIOS detects the new card really nicely. Radeon X1600Pro with 512 megabytes of ram for AGP. It this graphic card shipped as corrupted maybe? Thanks in advance.

Hello. I think that you are going to reinstall your system if you didn’t first removed the old drivers and then plugged the new graphic card. If you do know how to manually remove old drivers from windows recovery console than you are saved from the clean install. I don’t know which other reasons could produce something like this, except the faulty hardware. And it happens sometimes. Keep in mind that your new graphic card is more power hungry than old FX.
