Hello. I have Compaq EVO n400c computer. I would like to install Vista on it. Currently, I have Windows 2000 Professional and I would like to try something new. I have never installed operating system before so I would really appreciate if you could give me some guidelines. Thank you in advance for your time.

I have to disappoint you, but I think that it is futile to try installing Vista on Compaq EVO n400c. If I remember correctly, it is old computer with 850 MHz processor and only 128 MB RAM (it can have up to 512 MB RAM). These specifications are too low for Vista and if you install it somehow it will not be usable at all. In short, forget about installing Vista on Compaq EVO n400c.
