After installing new Power supply unit (my old one died in cloud of smoke) I can not turn on my computer. I am sure PSU is OK and I bought strong enough Power supply for my computer (550 W while old one had 450 and computer worked fine with it). To be honest, I am not some kind of expert and I have not done this before. DO you have any idea what the problem might be?

If you are sure Power supply is working correctly then only possible option is that you have not connected correctly cables from PSU with devices in your computer. First check if you have connected PSU with motherboard. That connector is the largest one that goes from PSU and you have to place it appropriate slot on motherboard which is usually located near CPU. The check connections with hard drives, optical devices and video card or cooler. When you connect everything properly then your computer will turn on for sure.
