I can tell you it is no big deal from user’s point of view. I mean nothing spectacular changes on your XP interface. Since it is mostly focused on security, you will have new icon in the tray, that is Windows Security Alerts and via this icon you gain control to all new features. There is new firewall (old one, just improved) that enables more control over different programs and system, but is still far form third-party firewalls and their level of control. Automatic Updates is advanced feature, but I turned it of, since I don’t want my XP to download automatically and there is one more simple thing, something like antivirus presence control. Just checks if antivirus program is present and alerts you. Out of this, there are few more icons in Control Panel (I use IR communication for getting photos from my mobile phone) and that is about all differences that I found. I think it is OK, just watch for the resources you have on machine. It is some more demanding than „naked“ XP.
