I need to make some presentation for school, but Ive never worked with Microsoft Office (except in Office Word, but that was only a couple of pages). So, I need to insert some scanned pictures but I dont know how to do it. Also, I might need resizing them in order to make document nice.

Have you opened Powerpoint so far? It has a very good user interface and useable menu. On the menu, go to insert - picture - from file. Choose your picture and click Ok. You can easily resize it by holding the edges of the picture with left mouse click and stretching it to suit your needs.
