Inserted pic not showing in Word XP

Hello! If somebody can help, I have some problems with my MS Word program. Maybe its sound stupid but let me introduce this problem. When I want to insert some picture or any image file, nothing shows to me on the document. What that supposes to mean? I really dont know what to do. Does anybody know? Thanks!

Hi! Ok. Thats not a problem. When you start your MS Word application, find the option insert. Then you will see under the menu option picture. Stay over this option and chose what you want to insert. Presupposition to chose from file. Just find right image file and open it. The MS Word must to show your picture or any image file like JPG, TIFF, and BMP
