Hello there. After the arrival of new hard drive to my home, I still didn’t managed to copy all of my data from the old one. Is there some special tool needed to perform this task as much painless as it can be, because I had some sort of bad episodes in the past regarding hard drives? Or all I need to do is to connect the old one to the newer machine? Thanks in advance.

Yes, that is all you need to do. Just connect the old hard drive to the new machine and perform your tasks. But, there is one more safer method and it requires network share. If the old computer is still operational you can, do all of that, without opening the computer case, but just easily duplicate your files trough network.
