| I have recently installed Frontpage in order to build a new website. I do not have too much experience and I also do not know much about CSS. I have tried to add a background image by creating external css through notepad and importing it into the Frontpage (version 2000). However, that does not seem to be the solution, as the image is not appearing. If anyone could help, that would be great. |

| I have been having the same problems. Working in Frontpage can be really tricky and lead to such problems as you have (and I had before). I have tried a lot of things. For some time, I thought it was a typo error. However, I have finally succeeded in getting the background image to show. What I did was to embed the style into the html code of the web page. The procedure is not too complicated, so if you have so far managed to do find out a bit about building a web page, as it seems to me you did, you will have no trouble doing this yourself. Hopefully, it will solve your problem. |
