| My son insist that I buy him a camcorder for his birthday. Now, he is on holiday, and I want to surprise him when he is back home. I went shopping, but I did not understand what those people were saying when they were explaining me the features of camcorders. For example, if they say 32 optical zoom,. I wonder what exactly does it mean? |

| LOL. I know what you mean. Same thing happened to me few times before when I tried to buy some stuff I wasn’t familiar with. But then, I decided never to do it again, because I made really stupid decisions few times before. That is why I think it would be best to wait for your son and then take him shopping with you. If he is into these things, he will know the difference and just choose what he likes the most. There are so many types of camcorders, which are intended for many different situations, and of course for different level of knowledge and experience. So it is best to consult him. |
