Hello. I am worried about my PC. My BIOS screen is often missing. It just doesn’t show, and it happens lets say twice in 5 times. Is there something wrong with my CMOS battery? Shall I try to replace it? It is worrying me sick; I am so scared it is something that can not be easily replaced. I am kind of short with money…

Well, no good news for you, as I see it. It seems to me our motherboard is ding slowly, and you better start saving the money. I can not be certain, but it is what happened to me before my motherboard got completely damaged. Same thing and no beeping sound… So, it can last for months, or days  There is not much you can do eally. You can run a few tests to check if that is the problem, and if it is…you will have to get a new one soon. I just hope our configuration is a newer one, so you can keep your CPU and other cards and devices.
