Help please! My Thinkpad is malfunctioning, and its beeping when I try to start it up! A guy tells me these are error codes that I need to write down and decode so I can figure out what this means? So, I got them written down, but I can't find the meaning on the Web, I've searched everywhere. Could you guys point me to a site, or just tell me what does "one long, four short" means? Thanks.

Try searching for it on bioscentral.com, I remember I found the codes for my desktop there. Here, I just googled it out for you: 1 long, 4 short means low battery voltage. I guess you got off easy there, it's not really that serious of a problem, is it?
