I guys, I was wondering if you could help me with this little "problem". It's not so much of a problem, relly, more of an inconvenience: I would like to clear all the MRU (Most Recently Used) lists from all my aplications at once - mostly Windows-basic and Office apps. I know there was a trick of some kind to do it directly in XP's Run menu, without external programs to download, but I can't remember exactly how. Anyone?

I don't know how to do it fdirectly from the Run menu, and I even doubt that there is a single command for something like that, but you can set up a shortcut to a certain registry key (that you compose) and do it instantly by clicking that shortcut. To do this, open up your registry (Start/Run/regedit) and go to this location:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU.
Export the MRu key from there, save it under a different name, then edit it in Notepad, adding a single minus sign right before the key name. Each time you run this exported .reg file, your MRUs will be cleared. Enjoy!
