| Hey there. I have a problem with my PC for months. My son was hanging out on the net, probably visiting god knows which sites, and my PC was completely infected with all sorts of viruses and malware. Norton recognized the viruses, and removed them. But, when I turned it back on – it had few viruses again. What shall I do? |

| I think that must be the kind of virus that store itself at system volume information folder on other drives, and restores itself after removal with the new booting of system. What I would do, if I were you is run the check up again, with system restore mode turned off. This will surpassingly stop the virus from restoring itself when your system is restarted. You may also check at the net for the best mode to destroy that virus. There are specific viruses that can be fought against only with specific software, so you better check it instead of wasting your time. You may try Stinger also, it is powerful removal tool for many common viruses. |
