I regret buying a Toshiba laptop

I have bought Toshiba laptop on my friends recommendation and I already regret it. It gets extremely hot and I fear some overheating problems. Also I am experiencing some battery problems that I never had before with any other laptop. Can you tell me if this is just the case with me or all Toshiba laptops are like this?

No, they are not. In fact, I think them to be one of the best laptops. On the other hand, Toshiba is notorious with its heat generating laptops but that is something you learn to live with and it does not cause any troubles. Considering battery problems I think it is one of the notorious Sony batteries and you should return it as soon as you can.
