| Hi! I am really worried here, because I have heard that there is extremely malicious software which is just cruising the net, looking for the new PSP victims to attack!! Well I am the owner of one, so I think you are getting the picture why I am starting this thread. I need information what is it, is there a way it can be avoided and if my PSP catches that one could it be cured. Thanks and cheers! |

| Hello and yes you should worry about the things you heard, malicious software could completely mess up your PSP, and as far as I know no cure for that one, yet. Its called Trojan.PSPBrick and actually is a Trojan which deletes files you need to restart your system. Having brick in the name actually is there for a good reason, describing well what happens with your PSP when it gets into the Trojan.PSPBricks hands, from that moment you are just an owner of the useless device. Main victim of that Trojan intrusion is firmware, getting completely damaged, so what people are suggesting is to have if it is possible option copy of your firmware as backup. |
