I can’t overclock my Sempron 64 2800+. What could be the problem? When I was buying a processor, everybody I asked suggested me to get this one because of its reliability and the fact that it was comparatively affordable, especially in comparison to some other Intel processors. I specifically wanted a model that can be overclocked and now this one wouldn’t work. Any suggestions?
I really don’t understand why people love to meddle with hardware so much! I mean, it is like trying to fix your car or your TV set instead of taking it to a repair shop. Do you know that this way you can only cause some major damage? I know that overclocking isn’t considered to be the reason why people tend to have their PCs brought to a service shop. I still think that in order for a PC to function properly overclocking should be performed only by an experienced person or a professional. That would be my suggestion to you. So, don’t try to do anything on your own but have it performed by somebody else.
