| My Internet Explorer has been causing me trouble lately. If I remember well, it all started when I reinstalled my operative system. I can not open almost all websites. At first I thought it was trouble with my connection, but I realized than the problem lies elsewhere. I probably made some mistake when customizing my applications, or did something wrong somewhere. Where shall I begin in fixing it? |

| Hey there. You are probably right. The problem is, as you say, probably not caused by your connection, but with some software mistake. Not a mistake exactly. It is very possible that you didn’t customize the options like you should. But this does not necessarily mean that there is something wrong with your Internet Explorer settings. The problem can also be caused by your firewall settings. You should check your security levels. It can be set in Windows settings, if you kept that firewall, or in some antivirus program settings. For example, if you have Kaspersky installed you should search for the solution of your problem there. If the security level is set on the hightst level, try lowering it. |
