Hi. I am having problems with Internet Explorer 6. It crashes constantly. Every time I start it I receive error message saying: “Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.” Is there any way to fix this problem? Thank you in advance!

Hello. You have to update “pim.dll” file. This can be done through some recommended updates from Microsoft. Second option is to disable script debugging in Internet Explorer 6. Start IE 6, click Internet Options on Tools menu, click Advanced tab and select Disable Script Debugging check box. There is a good article about this problem on Microsoft knowledge base. You can find it under ID 293623.
