Hello! Internet Explorer 6 is my default browser and I like it very much. My friend told me that this browser is not secure at all and that I need to download and install patches all the time. I do not think so. I think that everybody should download and install patches only when they have some problem. Am I right?

Hello! Well, you are not. But, I would like to tell you first regarding your friend’s statement. Internet Explorer 6 is secure browser. All browsers have vulnerabilities. Regarding the patches I can tell you following; every time when Microsoft develop some parch for Internet Explorer – one problem in this browser is solved. Most of the time you will not notice some problem in IE 6 (e.g. security problem, etc). So, when you get information about new patch – download and install it.
