| Since I've moved to a new flat, I can't seem to make ICQ work. It connects and functions normally for a while, but then it stats disconnecting and reconnecting randomly. My contacts say the network is fine while I'm gone. My browser still works, so it's not the DSL service's fault. Any idea what might be causing this, and how to handle it? |

| With ICQ, it can be kind of hard to tell because there's so many things that can (and often do) go wrong. But in your case, I suggest you check which ports ICQ is trying to use, and see that they're properly forwarded by/to your router. For more detailed assistance, you'd have to provide router make/model and describe the local network settings. |
