Hi guys! I have recently bought a new motherboard. It is ABITs IC7-MAX3. I am completely satisfied with the features it has on board. I was wondering can you tell me whether I should buy a SIIG SATA Controller Card or not. I am asking you this because I am considering putting some extra drives on it also!

HI there! This mobo is quite good actually. You dont need SIIG SATA Controller Card at all. This motherboard has four of SATA connectors so there is no need for any external ones. But, of course if you are willing to do that, it is up to you. You can do that but before that you must know that some extra power supply is going to be needed. This is only because if you do that, your machine will be at the brink if you dont have some more powerful ATX.
