| It doesn’t need to be. Turn the power completely off. This means, remove both batteries. CMOS and the hardware, the main battery. Leave the notebook in that state over night and try to put back the batteries again nicely, but before you do that, you can try with clearing the CMOS. You can do that by small plastic piece called jumper, which is very near the CMOS battery. Then try to use your reference disk that should be somewhere in your house. That disk is a part of your notebook standard equipment. |
