I have a strange problem with IBM ThinkPad 1400 keyboard. It completely stopped working and I can not type any character at all. However, it seems that function key is working because I can change screen resolution and other things. I would appreciate any suggestion about this problem. Thank you in advance.

Maybe you have accidentally disabled keyboard by pressing required key combination. As far as I know combination of function key and F11 or F13 should enable keyboard and touchpad again. If this does not work then your keyboard is probably broken and you should replace it. Keyboards on laptops can be very fragile sometimes.
