I have some files on my Mac which I would like to copy and give my friend. But I know that there is a problem called transfer. As far as I know, a lot of Mac files are not readable on PC with windows operating system. Is there any way for transferring data from Mac to PC?

There is a program called MacBinary. Its freeware software. It converts Macs files from binary to ASCII. You can send converted files to your friend via e-mail, but let him know that such files would have extension .bin. I have mac too and I use MacBinary. I can tell you that this software is very practical and good.
