Any advice for a inexperienced but enthusiastic starter? I've been browsing several internet forums looking for advice, but nothing good's been spotted as of yet. All I see are reseller offers and plans, I'm not 100% on what that means but it doesn't sound too good - if it was working, why would they have to resell?

I'm not sure what exactly you are after here. Is it general advice regarding web hosting, from either perspective? Or are you looking for offers from hosting companies, as in existing ones? If it's a job you[re after, there are specialized forums for that. If it's starting web hosting small business, I can't believe you've missed tons of ads spamming the forums everywhere – a simple google search should help you find some of those.
