| Hello folks. The more I use internet, the more I learn about it. Sometimes I think I am just spinning around nothing, but some other time about that. My Gmail inbox has started to fill with a lot of unwanted or unknown email messages every day. Some offers for Viagra, some kind of stupid advertisements, stupid new jobs etc. I dont know which of them are really hoax. I am very skeptic about that. What should I do, and how do I know which one of these is worth of replying? Thanks in advance. |

| Welcome. Well, it seems like you have a habit to leave your email message everywhere. But, lucky you, Gmail is very simple. Just assign a report as spam option for all messages you have previously marked in your inbox and after that your spam folder is going to be more full and full. But, not your inbox. And after a while just delete the spam contents. How to detect a fake or hoax email? Here is what I think. When you see This is not an automated message... somewhere inside the email you have received, treat that as a possible hoax, with little question mark. When you see do not reply on this message because there will be no response from the sender, threat that as simple, dull advertisement or forum sign-up registration confirmation, which is ok. At least I think so. Anyway, when you receive a message from the unknown sender (you know what are you doing when you are online and surfing right?), threat that as a scum or a hoax. Always. |
