Hello to all of you people! I have very simple question, going all nuts here with slow downloads. I have solid cable connection but somehow my download is going reaaally slow lately, and I honestly have no clue why?! Looking for some adding that could make it faster if it’s possible. Any chance to increase my download speed?

Just hope you are not some heavy downloader and that you are stuck with small file downloads, like music and songs, because downloading series or some movie could turn into tiresome job. Actually can I ask you first what are you downloading and in which way? Regular “save target” from the site way or using some Peer to Peer program file sharing program?

Well, I have been using some P2P software for downloading music and it was going slow in a way. Turned into snail disaster, one song took almost 2 hours of my life. Never dared to try download of anything bigger like movies or series.
In general what I was downloading from directly from some site was going the usual speed.

Oh,then it’s not your connection fault, and not much you can do there. Your download depends on other’s people speed. Maybe you should pick some programs that have the option that is allowing you to see what speed people are allowing in general, must say I am huge fan of Soul Seek program, even though others recommend eMmule, BearShare..

C’mon people what you are talking about start using torrents!! Find some software like BitTorrent or Azureus and start the hunt. I have no idea what you were doing with P2P programs they are kind of passé. Just hope, that you don’t have some Internet police there that will breed on your neck.

Reading about your problem I came to only one conclusion. Change Internet provider and get better cable connection.Maybe you should start collecting money for some faster connection, lol. I think that is the best solution. And possibility to lose nerves on waiting for the file to be finished is less optional.
