How to shut Word Assistant?

This Office assistant makes me rally mad. I have not seen more intrusive assistant in my life. Is there any way to disable or uninstall this thing? It always pops up giving some advices I already know or missing a point completely. It jumps on screen and has those animations. I do not want to play with Word but to work. Thank you in advance for your help.

There is one quick and dirty way to disable boring office assistant in Microsoft Office 2000 ( I suppose you have this version of Office). Find folder “Actors” somewhere in Office installation folder and rename it (any other name should do the trick). When you rename this folder office assistant will be disabled completely. If you want to turn it on again then just rename folder back to “Actors”.
