I need to delete a certain .dll file but I am unable to find it. I heard that it is a ‘hidden’ file and that I have to do something in windows so that I can see the ‘hidden’ files. How do I do that? I’m really sorry if this is a stupid question. Thanks in advance.
No problem, we all have to learn sometime. Here’s how you do it: Using windows explorer click on the ‘tools’ dropdown menu, then click ‘folder options’ and there select ‘view’ tab. There you can check the ‘show hidden files’ box and then you’ll be able to see all the hidden files including the .dll that you seek.
