Hi there people. I really don’t know how to do this and I need to perform this very badly. I have two computers at my home and a DSL connection. My son wants to play with me trough LAN. He is also attending to try World Of Warcraft. I heard about this game and it’s popularity, and I said to my self, while he is good at school, there are not going to be any limits, regarding his entertainment. Now, I need to share DSL modem for both computers. How can I do that? Thanks in advance.

Hello. You are going to need one network HUB, with three ports at least. I can bet that you have LAN cards on both computers, am I right? Never mind. If your DSL router has Ethernet port, than you are on the horse. Connect both of computers to the HUB, connect the DSL modem too. Make sure you have at least CAT5 network cables. Then, usually goes like this: 192.168.1.1 is the IP address of the router (in 99% of the cases). That’s also your default gateway and primary DNS server. Set desired IP addresses for your computers after you have applied their workgroup names, and put the router’s IP as the DNS and Gateway, and that’s it. Both computers should be networked and Internet ready.
