Hello. After a virus invasion on my computer, I have become a little more skeptical about everything. My computer is ok now, but I am still concerned about unprotected HTML code that arrives trough e-mail messages. So is there any way to set Outlook Express to preview only text or plain text. Thanks in advance.

Yes there is, but why should you do that, when you really have wide range of choice for better security with a lot of antivirus software? I am asking this because today, only text, without any image, even in e-mail is simply ugly and that includes HTML. Never mind. This is for Outlook express. Go to tools menu, than click on options and than read tab. There you will find Read all messages in plain-text. Click on the box and thats it. Almost the same procedure is in the Microsoft Outlook.
