I am planning Windows XP reinstallation and I want to backup my drivers. You know, I have a lot of devices in my computer and it would be a pain to search around for all that drivers. Not to mention that I have lost original CDs with drivers for most devices. Is there any way to accomplish this task?

Backing up drivers manually is bigger pain then searching for them on the internet. Drivers for different devices consist of many files and finding them will be tedious. Of course, if you skip some file drivers will not work. The other approach is using some third party tools like Driver Magician, Driver Genius or Driver Collector. Most of them will create exe file for easier driver extraction.
