| Hi. I always wanted to try something new and unknown on my computer, because that’s my favorite way to learn interesting things and stuff. I had dual boot until few days ago, and now I have only Windows XP. But, no matter that, there is still Operating system choice menu when I start the machine. I don’t want to see Windows 2000 anymore on my screen. How to remove the OS boot loader line? I have formatted the entire partition and there is no trace of W2K anymore. Thanks in advance. |

| Hello. There are several ways to do that, just as there are several ways to perform many, many other tasks. Let me show you my method. Go to the System Properties from the control panel, and on the Advanced tab, you’ll find Startup and recovery settings tab. Click there and then click on “edit” under the System Startup. When notepad appears, just delete the line where Windows 2000 stands, and that’s it. |
