Hi there. It seems that my notebook is getting more and more hotter every day. I can feel it on my knees, and I can also hear the fan speed, producing very unpleasant sound. I think that temperature inside this notebook is above normal. I want to set things back to normal before the machine goes bad totally. How can I do this? Thanks in advance.
According to your story it is quite clear that your notebook needs complete cleaning and dust removal. This requires opening. Find the manual for the notebook model and see how you can do that without damaging anything in the first place, than unscrew and detach the fans and remove all that dust inside. Also, you might want to check the BIOS setup for some implemented feature for automatic speed regulation. At least centrino technology has that.
