| I know what you are talking about. Same thing also happened to me. You could restore your files with specialized software. But with a shadowcopy, no. To use shadowcopy feature properly you must set it up in a dock properties. Go to the dock properties window and click on a general button. Look if the shadowcpy feature is on. If not, turn it on, and click apply. Then go to the previous version button and see if shadowcopy is enabled. If not, that feature must be disabled somewhere in a regeditor. Ina previous version button you should see word Backup. That means that files are being saved in a particular folder. Vista offers help in the top right corner. Check it out, and find a regedit feature, because you can find regedit options there. Go to the regeditor and check the autosave button. |
