How to install drivers?

Hi there. I feel really stupid now, but I have to ask how can I install drivers. I have downloaded latest drivers for ATI Radeon x1650 video card and started installation. Installation stops after several seconds with some errors (I do not know what they say, but I can check when I get home). Can you tell me how to install drivers?

Hello. You should tell me what errors do you get from installation program. Right now, I can only speculate that downloaded installation is corrupted (you will have to download drivers again) or that you have not uninstalled previous drivers (you will have to uninstall previous drivers for video card before you start installation of new ones).
