| Hello! First of all, take Linux installation CD and install it. Somewhere at the end of the installation process you will be asked where to put boot loader. Choose option to install it on master boot record. Boot loader will automatically recognize existing Windows installation and make an option to boot either Linux or Windows. |

You need to create one (act. several) partition for Linux & one for Windows. It may be best if the Windows partition is fat32 as then Linux can read it & you can transfer files back & forth.
Beyond this getting duel boot Linux up & working is a longer topic than one post I'm afraid. Oh, install Windows 1st, then Linux.
