| Good afternoon everyone! I have recently bought new monitor from SyncMaster series. Its called Bx6, and it has 19 inches. The thing is, when I try to use it with my second monitor, it wont work. My OS is Linux Suse 10.3. I also use nVidia video card with Tv card, and I dont have separated memory in it. Maybe it requires better hardware configuration? Only thing that can be seen is blue color on a syncmaster. |

| You might have changed resolution accidentally. What you are going to have to do is enter the console and write res 800x600, then try it again. The other thing towards dual monitors involves using new drivers. Luckily, Linux has great support and you can easily find drivers. Suse gives users the option to update drivers when you first install OS. Now save your settings and close console. This will take some time. Save your session and open the console again. If your installation worked, you should see the Welcome screen. I didnt mention that you can change refresh time. You should be able to use 75 hz, 85 hz and even more. |
