I got a new laptop Toshiba Dynabook Tx/450DSE1 as a present from a friend who lives in Japan. It’s got Japanese version of XP on it. I got the recovery disc along with it. I want to install English version of XP and I’m looking for drivers. Since I have the recovery disk, I would like to know is there any tool I could use to crack the recovery data and extract the drivers from it?
I think it would be much easier if you found the most important drivers from the Device Manager. I think that graphics, sound and touchpad drivers are all you should worry about. MoBo drivers aren’t the problem since XP takes care of this itself. Then you should go to manufacturer's website for each of the drivers you need and you can download the correct graphics, sound and touchpad driver there.
