Hello! I have some old hard drive and I want to dump it. I cant use it for any purpose because it is only 5GB capacity. I want to ask you if it safe to dump it to some trash pile is. What are you doing with your futile hardware? I really need some urgent reply because I am going to straighten up my room.

Do not dump it to some rubbish heap! When I have some old hardware (hard drive, motherboard, etc) I first ask my friends if they need it and if they do, I give to someone of them. If they dont, I give that to charity. I suggest you to clean your hard drive and give it to charity. If you dont want, then give it to recycle.
