Hello! I have Windows XP Pro operating system with Service Pack 2 installed. I am using Zone Alarm firewall program. I have networked this computer, but know I have problems. A friend of mine told me that the cause of my problems is firewall and that I need to disable it. But, I do not know how. Please tell me what to do.

Hello! Your friend is right. To disable Zone Alarm you will need to right click on its icon in System Tray and choose Disable option and confirm it. But, I think that it is recommended to remove it from start up, too. To do that, click Start, open Run and type there msconfig and press Enter key on your keyboard. Uncheck Zone Alarm and it won’t start automatically any more.
