Hi there! I am new with the computers and I am getting used to it slowly. I have a question for you and its about that AVG Free anti-virus program. This is very good software and sometimes can get a bit annoying, meaning whenever I put something on, like installation and CDs or DVDs it always prompts me to check for viruses. This is cool but I want to disable it. How can that be done? Regards!

| Hi there! Indeed AVG free is doing its job. Very few people have appeal on it, but we think its a great program. Now, what you want to do is not so advisable because it can make damage on your computer. This we say only because of our experience. You can disable your anti-virus easily by clicking on the icon on the Taskbar. Right-click and you will have few offered options. Choose the one which says Quit and your anti-virus will be shut down before you know it. This is alright if you want to disable it when you play some games or so, because it drains quite of process, but if you wan to install some software we would suggest you keep it on! |
