Hello there. I have several pictures in .bmp format and I would like to convert them to .jpg format. Pictures in .bmp format are too big and unsuitable for uploading on web site. I would like to know how to convert .bmp picture to .jpg picture format. I have never before done this and I would really appreciate any kind of help.

Hello. Converting pictures from .bmp format to .jpg format is very easy. You can do this with almost any graphics program (Paint.NET, IrfanView, Picasa, AcdSee, Photoshop etc.). Open .bmp picture and choose Save As. When Save dialog appears choose .jpg format and save file. It will be automatically converted from .bmp to .jpg.
