| I have a question which will probably seem too paranoid for you, but since I’ve heard various stories, it’s better that I ask: how safe am form connection hijack? I have this wireless internet and I’m wondering how to protect myself if there is a possibility to do so. Do you think that I’m panicking? I know that I’m a rookie, but still I know that some people had problems with connection hijack. |

| Of course that you’re neither paranoid nor a panicky person. You’re just aware of the potential dangers that you can encounter. Wireless networks are actually very likely to be hijacked because they use radio or electromagnetic waves which can easily be decoded. I advise you to use excellent anti-virus, as well as, anti-hacker utility. I’m pretty satisfied with Kaspersky Protection Suite, but I don’t know whether it can protect you form hijack. Maybe you should call the service center of your IPS and ask them how safe you are and how to protect yourself from a connection hijack. If I were you, I’d subscribe either for ADSL or for cable internet because they’re much safer from wireless connection. |
