I have done something to my HDD, and I need to reset the partitions. But, I do not know how to do that. I do not know what is included in the Actuator mechanism. Will somebody tell me what I must do? I heard there is some jumper I must take out, and put it back in. The thing is that I cannot find which one is the right one. There is no information about this one the internet, so I must ask you guys for help.

If you want to reset the partitions, you must be very careful, because you can damage the Actuator mechanism. It is the most important part of your hard disk drive and the chipset on it. If you do not do the procedure correctly, you will lose your piece of computer. It is very necessary to do the procedure the correct way and the timing must be perfect. If you do not know how it is done, it is much better to go to computer repair shop. There you will be able to reset the partitions, and the people working there will help you and show you how to do it. Those partitions are the part of chipset, so you should know what you are doing.

The partitions are important for the proper working of your computer. It is important to set your timing of taking out the partitions jumper and putting it back to the place. If you do not put it back on time, then your HDD will be cleared, and you will not be able to use the motherboard. Most manufacturers set that time to 10 seconds, so you should somehow find that info on the support site. There is small jumper near the partitions battery, so you should look for it there. You can also try to take out the batter for several seconds, but that might not work. Resetting partitions is very delicate procedure, so be careful.
