TV shows that I download off the internet won’t play on my DVD player. I have been burning them with Nero, like everything else. Should I perhaps use some other program for this? What do you do with the shows you download? I know I can watch them on my PC but my monitor is small and I would really like to watch them on my big TV.

The problem you’re experiencing doesn’t have anything to do with Nero. You have to take care about the file type you’re downloading because some files cannot be played in most of the DVD players and home theaters. I think that you should convert all the files you download into .vob files. I don’t know if there is such an application that can do this directly but maybe a google search would give you some good results.
